CESEENET (Central and South-East European PhD Network)
The purpose of Central and South-East European PhD Network is to promote and facilitate cooperation within the Universities from Central and South-East Europe that offer PhD education in Economics and Business in order to increase the quality of their PhD programmes.
Activities include:
- Exchange of PhD students to attend doctoral courses at the partner universities.
- Organisation of joint specialised courses and research seminars
- Organisation of annual workshops and summer university courses
- Organisation of conferences
- Strengthening cooperation in research and PhD committees
- Development of joint scientific journals
- Implementation of joint research projects
- Awarding regional PhD awards
Universities from Austria, as well as from Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary are currently participating in the cooperation.

Course participation
In order to participate in PhD courses at our faculty with the CESEENET programme, nominated students from partner universities do not need admission at the University of Vienna.
Please contact the lecturer of the course in good time (at least 3 weeks) before the start of the course and let them know you would like to participate.
After the end of the course you will receive a confirmation of participation.
