Programme outcomes

Graduates of the bachelor’s programme in Statistics are familiar with the most important statistical concepts and methods, as well as with their possible applications using statistical software. They are qualified for a career in the field of statistics as well as for a master’s programme in the same field.

Fields of activity

Due to the relatively small number of graduates and the wide range of job opportunities, the chances of finding a job after graduating from the programme are excellent.

Typical employers are public authorities or administrative bodies, market research and survey institutes, finance companies such as banks and insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies as well as universities and research institutions. Moreover, graduates of our programme have the opportunity to work as independent consultants or reviewers.

Personal requirements

A strong interest in the subject and talent are important factors for choosing the bachelor’s programme in Statistics. Students of the programme should be interested in the handling of data and software and should have a certain mathematical talent. In professional life, graduates of the programme are expected to be open to and able to work in teams with experts from other disciplines.
