In order to register for the public defence, please hand in the completed registration form for the public defence via e-mail (ssc.wiwi@univie.ac.at) or submit it personally at the StudiesServiceCenter.

Please schedule the examination date together with your supervisors.  Make sure that the reviewers are available on the desired examination date as well.  Please notify the StudiesServiceCenter about the date of your final oral examination as soon as possible so that the SSC has enough time to announce it.
The SSC forwards the documents concerning your public defence to your supervisors’ departments or directly to them.  Following the successful completion of the public defence, the responsible department will send the examination record to the StudiesServiceCenter which will start finalising your graduation. The SSC will contact you as soon as they have finished processing your documents. You can then pick up your diploma documents.
